Vanini was the first of the six sisters who became a witch. She may not look old, but after some status witches do not age anymore and so she is much more older than her 5 sisters by choice. This also makes her the most experienced witch, maybe the most powerful and also some kind of leader or even 'mother'. Her husband once took his own life and due to their religion it was beyond question to be taken to paradise. They say love is the world's strongest force, but also the most humble one. Well, just until it's taken away from you against your will. Her love was much more stronger than any faith and so she made a pact with the devils to avoid afterlife in paradise without him. Black magic always depends on offerings, sacrifices or strong emotions and her lost love just turned into pure, true, profound hatred against all good due to her frustration about it. So through her pact she became very evil and very powerful. Her cat eyes can see every movement in the dark, she's quiet and clever and very very experienced about her hunters. It's just impossible to be one step ahead of her. Her name has it's origin in an ancient Indian dialect and means 'dancer or actress'. She got the power to perform difficult dance rituals to wake the dead. Originally she believed to revive her husband with this force but it turned out: dead people may enter our world again but they suffer great pain and they're not themselves anymore. So it may be useful to 'create' servants or soldiers but you can't get back a loved person. In other words: She got tricked by those evil forces. However, this fact just killed her last remaining hope and now she's exclusively sinister and vicious. In the meantime, she has grown in her own power and developed long and complicated dances to collect the souls of the dead. She keeps the souls in a small blue vial round her neck. By opening it, she's able to exchange souls. It is perceived as a green flame she can send off like a bolt - but this fire does neither burn material nor flesh and it doesn't hurt.. Once on fire, your soul is exchanged with the one of the dead. Your soul gains free, escapes and your body adapts to the new soul. So this fire only does burn 'years of life'. Within moments you become old and weak and before being able of saying "fuck" you fall to dust.
