Karma was born and raised in France. She was a bright student, but ended up having to be home schooled by her Mother. Through the latter years of Elementary School, Karma started having visions,dreams and nightmares that became premonitions. It made it increasingly difficult for her to cope in the public school system. Her Grandmother on Karma's deceased Father's side, also had these certain gifts. Through the rest of her schooling, her Grandmother helped Karma to not only to understand these visions, but to better control when and how they manifested themselves. Part of that training involved scrying, and together with her Grandmother, Karma was able to craft a tool that she still uses today...a Crystal Ball. A series of events caused the townsfolk to fear Karma and her visions. She fled the town and travelled around most of Europe, taking odd jobs to raise enough money to make it to the next town. She befriended an innkeeper and settled in a small village in the heart of Germany. A year passed and she saved up enough for air fare to North America. Karma once again spent a year travelling around, doing odd jobs here and there, before she found herself in G.E. City. This city was different. Although similar to other cities, there was a mixture of the mundane, and the arcane. Vampires, wizards, lycanthropes and even pandas made G.E. City their home. Normal, blended with the abnormal...and tolerance of others was encouraged. Karma knew she had found her new home. Karma has made a living this past year using her powers and her visons. She has chosen not to open her own shop, but rather has rotating engagements at several of the clubs in the city. Occasionally she will set up a kiosk amongst the markets and shops, but she prefers to work with no fixed address. She also does not rent an apartment, she has a permanent suite at the Red Starlight Hotel. For now, Karma keeps to herself. She has command of her powers, but new ones are emerging as she gains more command. She feels it is safer for all, for her to remain single. When she does hook up, it is one night stands and always at their place, so she can leave in the middle of the night. The hotel is her sanctuary, but that is also becoming difficult as her name and reputation become more widespread. She is determined to stay, hoping that her vagabond days are behind her.
